#วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสยาม #วทส. #STC ลงนามในบันทึกความเข้าใจ #MoU ว่าด้วยความร่วมมือกับ #มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนิวเซาธ์เวลส์(University of New South Wales – #UNSW) ของ #ออสเตรเลีย
เมื่อวันที่ ๕ กุมภาพันธ์ ๒๕๖๒ ดร.ชัยยงค์ สัจจิพานนท์ ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายความสัมพันธ์ต่างประเทศ วิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสยาม (วทส.) ได้เดินทางไปเยือนมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนิวเซาธ์เวลส์ (University of New South Wales – UNSW) ที่นครซิดนีย์ ออสเตรเลีย เพื่อหารือกับศาสตราจารย์ ดร. Grabriel Lodewijks, Head of School of Aviation เกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาด้านการบินระหว่างสองสถาบัน พร้อมทั้งพบหารือกับนาย Laurie Pearcey รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายต่างประเทศของ UNSW เกี่ยวกับแนวทางความร่วมมือระหว่างทั้งสองฝ่าย
MoU ระหว่าง วทส. กับ UNSW ลงนามโดยผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ พรพิสุทธิ์ มงคลวนิช อธิการบดี วทส. และ ศาสตราจารย์ Merlin Crossley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic ของ UNSW ภายใต้ MoU ฉบับนี้ ทั้งสองฝ่ายเห็นพ้องในการทำความร่วมมือทางการศึกษาโดยการแลกเปลี่ยนนักศึกษา อาจารย์ บุคลากร การทำวิจัย การแลกเปลี่ยนอุปกรณ์และทรัพยากรทางการศึกษาร่วมกัน ทั้งการพัฒนาด้านรถพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ วิชาการหุ่นยนต์ และวิชาทางด้านการฝึกบิน/การจัดการธุรกิจการบิน ซึ่งวทส.มีความพร้อมในด้านนี้เป็นอย่างมากและมีสนามบินเป็นของตนเองอยู่ที่อำเภอโพธาราม จังหวัดราชบุรี
มหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนิวเซาธ์เวลส์ (UNSW) ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อปี ๑๙๔๙ (พ.ศ. ๒๔๙๒) ที่นครซิดนีย์ในออสเตรเลีย UNSW เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำของออสเตรเลีย ได้รับการจัดอันดับให้เป็นอันดับ ๔ ของประเทศ และอันดับที่ ๔๕ ของโลก โดย QS World University Rankings ในปี ๒๕๖๑

#STC Signs MoU with University of New South Wales (UNSW) of #Australia
On 5 February 2019, Dr. Chaiyong Satjipanon Vice President of International Affairs of Siam Technology College (STC) visited the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Sydney, Australia. He met with Professor Dr. Grabriel Lodewijks, Head of School of Aviation of UNSW and discussed educational cooperation in the fields of flight training and aviation management. Dr. Satjitpanon also convened a meeting with Mr. Laurie Pearcey, Pro-Vice Chancellor International of UNSW, on ways and means of cooperation upon the signing of an MOU between the two institutions.
The STC-UNSW MOU was co-signed by Assistant Professor Pornphisud Mongkhonvanit, President of STC and Professor Merlin Crossley, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic of UNSW. Under the MOU, both sides agree to enhance educational cooperation by undertaking, among others, an exchange of students and faculty members and joint research in areas of mutual interest as well as an exchange of academic and teaching materials. The MOU would also pave the way for collaboration in areas such as flight training and aviation management, taking advantage of STC owned airport located at Photharam District, Ratchaburi Province. STC and UNSW would also to draw on each side’s strengths and expertise to develop improved solar cars and robotic science as well as other initiatives to be agreed upon.
